|
Since the inception of GJTMC at Karachi, this has been an honor for me to serve the Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company as principal of the institute. The company entrusted me and held me responsible to fulfill their dreams of establishing a center of international standard at the stage when the present building had yet to be converted to a proper institute and academic programs were still to be planned. With the Grace of Almighty ALLAH and the guidance of PGJDC Management, within a very short span of time the efforts of my dedicated team yielded fruit and we succeeded in achieving our objectives.
Efforts for progress and up gradation of the institute is continuously going on. Now it has been planned to initiate diploma courses along with the certificate programs, therefore, preparations for introduction of Diploma Course in Jewellery Manufacturing and designing in the next session are at final stage.
It is expected that the journey of trust, cooperation, guidance, teamwork and successes which started a year ago will continue with the same zeal and zest in the future as well.
I feel it is my moral duty to pay regards and thank to all of my seniors and colleagues for the guidance and cooperation offered by them in every respect.

This is an amazing and tremendous achievement of GJTMC Karachi during a very short period of time. It is also an honor for this centre that during a very short period of time the management has established and launched nine different courses in various disciplines. In the coming year, a one-year diploma program for the Graduates in the area of Arts and Design will also soon be introduced. This type of diploma program will be introduced in Pakistan for the first time. Three new short courses in the area of Gems and Jewellery will also be introduced very soon for the Jewellery Sector. The Commercial Wax Model Development on Rapid Prototyping Machine has also been started. The Jewellery Sector has also been facilitated by giving them access to the Computer Lab for designing their models in Jewel CAD and Matrix. It is an honor for me and my colleagues to be a part of this establishment.
