Situated in the heart of N. W. F. P, Gem Exchange Peshawar was established in 2008 in Namak Mandi Peshawar. This area is the main hub of Gems Stones and leading dealers of the stones are doing their business in this area. Pakistan Gems & Jewellary Development Company took a brilliant step to establish Gem Exchange in Peshawar. At Gem Exchange Peshawar, we have a team of qualified staff who are well skilled and have the grip and expertise in their respective fields.

At Gem Exchange Peshawar we are offering the following facilities:-

Gem Identification Laboratory:

Under the super vision of Gemologist Mr. Syed Ilyas Ali Shah, gem identification laboratory is fully equipped with most upto date and sophisticated equipment and the first of its kind in Pakistan. We are providing gem identification facilities (Certificate and Verbal Opinion) at very low charges.

Trainings:

Uptill now 8 trainings have been conducted in Peshawar out of which 4 trainings were conducted at Gem Exchange Peshawar. 1 training is still underway and will be finished by August 22, 2009.

Library:

We have also a library established at Gem Exchange Peshawar. The library is equipped with very informative books about the gems and stones across the world.

Shops Allocation:

Gem Exchange Peshawar is a project of Pakistan Gems & Jewellary Development Company. There are 31 shops in the Gem Exchange Peshawar, out of which 4 shops are with Pakistan Gems & Jewellary Development Company as its office, 3 are specified as Trading Booths, 1 is for Day Light Room, and 6 shops are specified for the Bank. The remaining 17 shops are for the trade people and out of these 17 shops 8 have been rented. Efforts are being made to rent out the remaining 9 shops.

Gem Bazaar:

Pakistan Gems & Jewellary Development Company has conducted 7 successful Gem Bazaars at Gem Exchange Peshawar. This is an innovative and unique step of the company which shows the PGJDC’s commitment for consistent efforts to promote Pakistani Gemstone sector and also to provide a lucrative opportunity and platform for those interested in buying and selling gemstones and mineral specimen under one roof in secured environment. The interested buyers are exposed to quality products on competitive prices, which will add tangible value to their business endeavors. In these gem bazaars local as well international delegates and dealers have visited and have shown their interest. Gem Bazaar is an ongoing feature which will contribute immensely to the continuous efforts that Pakistan Gems & Jewellary Development Company is putting in for the development of Gems & Jewellery industry of Pakistan.

Parking:

There is safe and secure parking facility for the visitors also.

The future plans:

In future we are planning to install security/monitoring cameras to further strengthen the security level. We are also planning to install the server at Gem Exchange Peshawar for which the main server room will be made.
