Karachi, May 27: Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) for the first time has arranged a training course on Rapid Prototype Machine at its Gems and Jewellery Training and Manufacturing Center (GJTMC) Karachi.

This course that started today will continue until 3rd June. The course is being conducted by Farhan Malik from Marriala Consultants Lahore. Total 10 participants including two female have been enrolled in this training session.

PGJDC are organizing the RP Machine Training Program, in order to train and upgrade the workforce, to make a proficient and productive use of RP Machine.

PGJDC official said that organizing such training programs is integral for the development of Gems and Jewellery sector as it enhances the skills of the Gems and Jewellery craftsmen and keeps their knowledge up-to-date with latest technology, techniques and trends. Following its trait of industry facilitation at the fullest, PGJDC has organized this course free of charge for its participants.

PGJDC has always bestowed great importance to the impartation of knowledge to the stakeholders of Gems and Jewellery industry of Pakistan. The company’s share in developing the Gems and Jewellery sector of Pakistan has been in the form of training courses, seminars, workshops and fieldtrips.
