Training program on Gemology at GJTMC Lahore from 25th November 2008.

Lahore, November 25 2008: Pakistan Gems and Jewelry Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged a two weeks training program on Gemology at its GJTMC Lahore from 25th November 2008.

The training program is being attended by 48 participants. Mr. Ilyas Ali Shah, a qualified gemologist of PGJDC, is the resource trainer for this course.

This training program in Gemology is aimed to impart basic skills and knowledge of Gemology and gemstones to the interested participants in the Gems and Jewellery sector of the country. Arrangement of such training programs is integral to the development of Gems and Jewellery sector as it enhances the skills of the Gems and Jewellery craftsmen and keeps their knowledge up-to-date with latest technology, techniques and trends.
