PGJDC Organizes Training Course on CAD/CAM Jewellery Designing in GJTMC, Lahore.

June 9, Lahore: Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged a training program on Computer Aided Jewellery Designing (CAD) and Computer Aided Jewellery Manufacturing (CAM) at Gems and Jewelry Training & Manufacturing Centre (GJTMC), Lahore. The course has started from 9th June 2008 and will be for the duration of one month.

The purpose of this course is to provide workers of the industry with training on modern designing methods. Twenty individuals including 5 ladies from the industry are being facilitated through this course. This course is complemented by state of the art CAD/CAM facilities of PGJDC. The course is being conducted by Mr. Zeeshan Anwar (Mechanical Engineer, UET).

To accommodate the needs of gems and jewelry sector of Pakistan, PGJDC intends to replicate this course consistently.
