=>   Training Program on Manual Jewellery Design (Basic) at GJTMC Karachi!
  Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged training program from 12th April 2010 till 22nd May 2010 on ‘Manual Jewellery Designing’ at Gems and Jewellery Training and Manufacturing Center (GJTMC) Karachi. 16 participants are being trained through this course.
A diverse array of participants has shown interest in this training program. The course is going to cover important concepts like manual coloring, image sketching, color gemstone variation, transparent and non-transparent gems stones, structure guides and jewellery making using pearls.
 
=>   Training Program on Matrix (Intermediate) at GJTMC Karachi!
  Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company has arranged a training program on Computer Aided Design Software Matrix at Gems and Jewellery Training & Manufacturing Center (GJTMC) Karachi. Eighteen participants have been enrolled for this course. The course started on 12th April 2010 and will continue till 14th May 2010. This training course is especially designed to familiarize the techniques of Jewellery Designing with the help of computers, and to transfer the knowledge essential for using jewellery designing computer software like Matrix, etc.
The participants of this course will be exposed to the latest technology in jewellery designing and manufacturing ranging from conception of an idea to production of the final product. This training program was designed to equip people from the Gems & Jewellery industry who are engaged in jewellery making/designing in the form of craftsmanship and/or entrepreneurship.
Skill development and technology up gradation of the Gems & Jewellery industry of Pakistan is one of the core initiatives of the industry. Courses of such nature are one of the ways by PGJDC to improves capacity building in the jewellery business increasing opportunities for export through state of the art designs and quality production.

  Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company has arranged a training program on Computer Aided Jewellery Designing (Matrix 6) course at Gems and Jewellery Training & Manufacturing Center (GJTMC) Lahore. Fourteen participants have been enrolled for this course. The course started on 5th April 2010 and will continue till 1st May 2010.
This training course was especially designed to familiarize the techniques of Jewellery Designing with the help of computers, and to transfer the knowledge essential for using jewellery designing computer software like Matrix, etc.

=>   Training Program on Gems Identification and Grading at GJTMC Lahore!
  Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged a training course on Gem Identification and Grading at Gems and Jewellery Training and Manufacturing Center (GJTMC) Lahore. The course has started from 5th April 2010 and will end on 17th April 2010. Fifteen participants will be trained in this course.
Gemstone Identification and Grading course helped the gemstone dealers in identifying and evaluating precious/semi-precious gemstones. The availability of Gemstone Identification Lab will help the participants to gain firsthand knowledge regarding the latest equipment.
The individuals will be trained for the basic concepts in gem identification and will be exposed to latest techniques and methods in identifying gems. The purpose of this training program is to provide the Gems & Jewellery sector of Pakistan with skills and knowledge of gemstones identification and its grading.
 
=>   Training Program on Gemstone Faceting at GJTMC Lahore!
  Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged a training program on “Gemstone Faceting” at Gems and Jewellery Training and Manufacturing Center (GJTMC) Lahore. The course started on 5th April 2010 and will end at 29th May 2010.
10 participants are attending this course. The participants will receive the first hand knowledge of gems cutting and polishing through gemstone faceting techniques, right from the sawing to finishing.
 
=>   Training Program on Basic Manual Jewellery Designing at GJTMC Lahore!
  Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged a training program from 5th April 2010 till 15th May 2010 on ‘Basic Manual Jewellery Designing’ at Gems and Jewellery Training and Manufacturing Center (GJTMC) Lahore. 13 participants are being trained through this course. PGJDC’s strategy is to maximize training benefits to the gems and Jewellery industry through these training courses.
