Gemstone Faceting Training Program at Quetta for 15 Days From August 02 to August 16, 2007

The main objective of the training is to accelerate the present velocity of working in terms of quality and quantity. PGJDC is interested and constantly engaged for the up gradation of the gemstones & jewellery industry and keep on familiarizing with the modern techniques, used for gemstone faceting.

Mr.Mohammad Afzal, with 30 years of working experience, right now is an instructor at
Sardar Bhadur Khan Women University Quetta, conducted this 15 days full day time course, and explained the smart & efficient handling of gemstone faceting machines with safety & precaution.

In all 6 people trained on the subject topic, since only the 6 gemstone faceting machines were available.

The man objectives of this training were:

	To mobilize the present skills.
	To introduce the new techniques for gemstones faceting and polishing with the handling of modern machinery.
	To upgrade the present talent and explore their potential to further trained our industry people.
	To take advantage of books and other printed material available, as we did in our course.
	To evaluate the quality of the job, through an experienced person available on full time basis to assist and rectified any problem during the training course.

Outcome of the training:

The participants up loud the efforts made by PGJDC, by which they learned a lot from new & modern methods of gemstone faceting, and they gained a bundle of techniques and new methods with the active coordination of Mr. Afzal.

The value addition of talent through this training program will not only contribute in their professional life but also serve as a guide line to the other people of the gems industry.

They insisted to continue these events in future also
