PGJDC organizes training program on Jewellery Finishing & Polishing in Quetta.

Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) organized a two day special training program on Jewellery Finishing & Polishing at its Gem Exchange, Quetta.

The program was conducted on December 07 & 08, 2009. Around 30 participants attended this training program.

This course was of great help in providing knowledge about professional techniques and tools applied for Jewellery finishing and polishing to the sector. The latest techniques will reduce wastage, save time and will give more life to the product. Hence it will result in value addition to the final product.

It’s the finish and polish of the product which adds value to it and in order to compete in international market stakeholders must realize the importance of Jewellery Finishing & Polishing.

One of PGJDC’s initiatives is to equip the industry with the latest techniques and processes through different training programs/seminars/workshops. PGJDC is providing the artisan with the skill set needed to upgrade current processes and train them to use up-to-date technology.
