=> Training Course on Gem Identification at Gem Exchange Peshawar!

Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged a one week training course on Gem Identification at Gems Exchange, Peshawar. The course has started from 1st March 2010 and will end on 7th March 2010. Ten participants will be trained in this course.
This programme will be given in Pashto/Urdu language for the Namak Mandi traders to cater their needs. PGJDC emphasizes on smooth flow of educational training hence conducting a training course in a local language which proved to be convenient for the traders.
The individuals will be trained for the basic concepts in gem identification and will be exposed to latest techniques and methods in identifying gems. The purpose of this training program is to provide the Gems & Jewellery sector of Pakistan with skills and knowledge of gemstones identification.

Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged a four week training course on Gem Identification at Gems and Jewellery Training and Manufacturing Center (GJTMC), Karachi. The course has started from 23rd February 2010 and will end on 26th March 2010. Fifteen participants will be trained in this course.
The individuals will be trained for the basic concepts in gem identification and will be exposed to latest techniques and methods in identifying gems. Hands on experience will also be given on the latest technology and equipment installed at GJTMC Karachi.
The purpose of this training program is to provide the Gems & Jewellery sector of Pakistan with skills and knowledge of gemstones identification

Fifteen participants will be trained through this course.
Manual Jewellery Designing course is foundation course for the aspiring jewellery designers The course is going to cover important concepts like manual coloring, silver metal coloring, image sketching, color variation, etc.

The U.S. Department of Commerce is planning to organize a Special American Business Internship Training (SABIT) program for Pakistani professionals from May 22-June 12, 2010 for the gems and jewelry sector. The program will begin with one week of training, which may include capacity building in policy, legislation, standards, certification, business plan development, cross-cultural negotiations, and management for global business. This will be followed by two weeks of comprehensive site visits, training at U.S. company facilities, and a visit to a trade show.

Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged a training course on Manual Jewellery Designing at its Gems & Jewellery Training and Manufacturing Centre (GJTMC), Saddar, Karachi. The duration of the course is one month starting from 20th January 2010 and commencing on 19th February 2010.
Fifteen participants from the Gems & Jewellery industry of Pakistan are attending this course.
The training course will help the participants in developing basic designing skills required for jewellery manufacturing. Free hand drawing techniques are imparted through these training courses which are fundamentals for starting a career in jewellery designing.

- Rs.1,000/- per trip up to Rs. 1.00 Million.
- Additional 0.50 Paisa per Rs 1,000/- in excess of Rs. 1.00 Million.
For availing the service an agreement for the service will be carried out between client and G4S Wackenhut Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.
