PGJDC mission and vision is to Strengthen the Gem and Jewellery sector of Pakistan. The Gem Exchange Peshawar has been established in 2008 in Peshawar.

The main purpose of the establishment of Gem Exchange in Peshawar, in the close vicinity of famous gemstone market of Pakistan, Namak Mandi, is to provide the gem dealers and traders one window facility where they could buy, sell, display and certify their gemstones under one roof in a secure and suitable environment.

Gem Identification Laboratory:

Gem Identification lab is fully equipped with most up to date and sophisticated Gemological equipments and it is the first of its kind in Pakistan from where traders and dealers of Gems can get verbal opinion and reports at very nominal charges. Free testing facilities have been given to the traders during Gem Bazaars.

Trading Booths:

Traders Booths are available in Gem Exchange for separate deals in Gemstones where suitable light conditions and secure environment has been provided for traders. Gem Dealers visiting Peshawar for buying gemstones can use this place as their buying office against nominal charges.

Gemstone Display Outlets:

Gemstone traders have been allotted different Gemstone outlets in the premises of Gem Exchange to display their products. 17 such outlets have been allotted to different traders where they display their Gem products on regular basis.

Gem Bazaar:

This is a regular feature of the Gem Exchange where opportunities have been provided to all traders to display and market their gemstone products in the form of table display outlets in the premises of gem exchange free of cost. This event is of vital importance to gemstone traders and they make B2B contacts for future business.

Gem Exchange as training center:

The platform of gem exchange is also used for skilled development training programs for traders. Up till now hundreds of traders have been given the opportunities to participate in these training programs free of cost based on their needs. These training programs are offered in their mother tongue as well to equip them with proper knowledge.
